On March 2nd a group of us from HFG and M.U. were invited for tea with the Lord Mayor, Clare Campion-Smith, at the Mansion House.  After being welcomed with tea and biscuits in the Drawing Room, the Lord Mayor and her consort talked to us about the history of the Mansion Houses and the office of Lord Mayor. We were then able to tour the house and see some of the City’s treasures such as its silver and regalia.  It was a very interesting and pleasant afternoon, our thanks to Celia for arranging this.
