We had a very musical Christmas evening on December 14th when John and Angela Shaw came to entertain us with Christmas songs and carols from the West Country. They both sang to the accompaniment of John playing on several of his dulcimers. Roger Revell also accompanied them for some of the songs on the penny whistle, concertina and violin (not all at the same time!)  We were so grateful to all of them for a most entertaining Christmas meeting. We concluded the evening with mulled wine, mince pies and sang traditional Christmas carols to the combined musical talents of John, Angela and Roger.

Ann Plaister brought along the beautiful tapestry picture that she made for Ronald Macdonald House – here it is with the hamper that we are donating to them for Christmas.
